Thieu Market often takes place at Thieu Xa Village, Cau Loc Town, Hau Loc on early morning of 26th day of final lunar month.
Goods shown at the market are usually agricultural products such as rice, honey and various kinds of vegetables. Similar to other once-a-year markets, visitors of Thieu Market usually don’t bargain, but to come to the market with a mindset of wishing luck and prosperity.
Before, Thieu Market was held close to one side of the river to be convenient for the waterways traffic. However, in recent days, the village has come to a decision to settle the market at one big yard of a pagoda. Visitors who come to the market, apart from experience the local culture and buying stuff, also have chances to visit the pagoda.
